As part of Trench Safety Month, OSHA is encrouaging all Wisconsin excavators to participate in a Trench Safety Stand Down during the week fo June 19, 2023.
A Trench Safety Stand Down is essentially a toolbox talk to highlight the significance of trench hazards.
Wisconsin excavators can request an OSHA representative to come to a Trench Safety Stand Down by contacting their local OSHA office.
Trench safety hit close to home for at least one Wisconsin excavating company, and is an issue all should be aware of.
More information, including links to webinars, OSHA safety links, checklists, stories, documents and ideas for your own Trench Safety Stand Down, can be found on NUCA's website.
