In an effort to encourage new attenddees at meetings, the Damage Prevention Council meeting will meet in La Crosse at 10 AM on September 18 at Xcel Energy.
Any interested stakeholder of Wisconsin's damage prevention process is invited to attend, including excavators, locators and utilities.

The DPC encourages all utility owners, contractors and anyone interested in Damage Prevention to attend. Here is a list of the upcoming locations and times:
October 16 - Diggers Hotline in New Berlin, 9:00 am
November 20 - WPSC in Plover, 10:00 am
December 18 - Diggers Hotline in New Berlin, 9:00 am
These meetings are held to continue the vital conversation concerning safe excavating practices. The group also discusses the content of yearly Excavators Safety meetings held at several locations January-April. Diggers Hotline is Wisconsin's one-call center. Anyone in the state who is digging, excavating or disturbing the soil is required by law to contact Diggers Hotline at least three working days before beginning work.
